Angama Mara is a new safari lodge, balanced on the rim of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, overlooking Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

Inspired by the Swahili word for ‘suspended in mid air’, Angama Mara appears to float above the valley, where guests stay in tented suites that have been designed by architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, and interior designer Annemarie Meintjes.
