The Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, has lit up for the Christmas season. Showing off a combination of Danish design and modern lighting, Denmark’s famous lighting designer Jesper Kongshaug, reports there are 800,000 lights at this year’s event, with energy efficient LED lighting being increasingly used to create the spectacular show.
There are also 11,000 Christmas trees, and 30,000 ornaments setting the mood, and solidifying Copenhagen as a destination of choice for tourists looking to experience this annual cultural festival.
